Circular Insulin
Recently two publications emphasized the expression of circular RNAs from Insulin genes in humans and mice. Especially the intron 2 of human insulin and mouse insulin2 gene forms stable circRNAs and are termed as ci-INS and ci-Ins2. It was shown to regulate insulin secretion by binding to TARDBP.
